Trouble is a two-way street, and I will help you cross it if you like. I will use my grandfather's walker and throw a wig and a shawl on and no one will ever know you are not a boy scout just helping out a little old lady. It is foolproof.

thanks, but Im no good unless you sit there like a stone for afew weeks.

Id rather have your knack for whippin up charicatures.

Thats one of the reasons I stopped drawing. Im so slow and precise at it.

Detail detail detail. It takes weeks to do one drawing.

I have a Beatle collage thing that took me (off & on) 3 years to draw.

Ive thrown these up before, thats why they are still in photobucket.

No, be proud of your work and teach me how to capture the quicker side of art.

I think I am going to take the easy way out and just capture the artists... You guys want fuzzy handcuffs, satin ropes, or do you just want to stick with good old metal chains?

this is the Beatle one Spleen.

Started in 1975, completed in 1978.

Took 3rd place in Beatefest '78

I won a copy of every Beatle album cover ever made.

No records in them and only made of poster paper. Laughing

But I was happy to place 3rd.

the differences in tint were done digitally in PSP

I always hide my last name within the composition.

In the Lennon one it was in the button.

See if you can find it in this one.

You dont understand, The poster is so detailed and that is it,s charm. A photo could never catch it. It would look like a gray square. Tell ya what I will scan a small section of it and you will see.

in the 80's I was doing baseball stuff, hoping to get signed by the player.

I went to Shea and got Goodens attention thru the fence by the bullpen.

But the drawing was in a cardboard tube(i was trying to pass it to him to sign) and he wouldnt touch it. Looking back (I was pissed at the time) how could I blame him? It could have been a pipe bomb for all he knew.

My brothers and I the went into the parking lot at Shea Stadium and played frisbee for around a half an hour while all the other cars left.

I put the tube on the rear bumper of the car and forgot about it. (2 drawings were in it, one by a phillie that WAS signed). I didnt realize it was left till we were like 30 minutes out of the parking lot and on our way home.

I flipped.

Drove back there like a madman. It was gone. Wasnt where we parked. I went crazy, searching the lot, searching the dumpsters by hand, went to the maintinence trailor and begged them to tell me if anyone turned it in. Then I gave up.

I was walking back to the car with my head down, very bummed.

One of my brothers(they were all trying to help find it) yelled from by the lot exit. HE FOUND THE TUBE up against the curb by a fence. It was driven over by who knows how many cars, and was squished flat. Both drawings suffer crease marks from it to this day.(smoothed over nicely here in PSP)

But I didnt care. My bro found it and a months work and one of my best baseball pieces up to that time was saved.

i suppose thats what I was doing there for a while.

No success. Im not good at selling myself. Or selling my originals. I get to attached. Ive been told to put prints on Ebay. But I cant afford to invest in something that may not sell. Scratch that-Im not that insecure that I dont think it would sell. I just can afford to buy a slew of quality prints. If you dont print up 100 quality silkscreens at once, its just not worth it.

Dude, thats one lil section?!

your freakin talented.

You should be drawing for Mad Mag! really!

And to me, thats the ultimate place/mag to draw the funny
